Everyone who has known our family for long is aware that we've always had a deep, abiding interest in the "way things were", farm wise. And eating-wise!! |

Mom has raised a garden just about every year that I can remember, and she's always loved her flower beds, as well as having a special interest in herbs and natural healing. Seems like so many of those things all go together! |

These days we finally have a climate we can try growing grapes in, and the first year they covered the side of the garden fence! (See left.) Also, planted some nice young fruit trees, some from commercial sellers, but others from local volunteers of the neighborhood, old fashioned trees. We are looking forward to seeing how these endeavors work out...
